New Urban Communities Authority
Location: Covering an area of about 70,000 acres on the southeastern edge of Cairo Government, 25 kilometers (15 mins) from Maadi, and 10 Km from Nasr City. It was established in the year 2000.
New Cairo is deemed as one of the biggest new communities in Greater Cairo, the city is well known for its gated communities. It is now estimated that New Cairo will eventually house a population of over five million people.
The City is developed with international-standard facilities:
1- Headquarters of several multinational companies such as Schneider Electric, Italy’s oil, and gas producer Edison.

The Future of The City:
New Cairo is also seen the fastest growing area for retail developments associated with residential expansions. Demand for real estate in New Cairo has been very high, with prices per meter for apartments reaching 30,000 Egyptian Pounds.
The New Cairo Administrative Capital is also expected to draw additional investments to New Cairo as real estate developers are eager to participate in the new projects. Most investments in 2017 were mainly directed towards first homes in new cities in east Cairo especially New Cairo and the New Administrative Capital.
